Looking for 70 Challenger Convertible...

Thought I might toss this one out for a try......
Looking for a 1970 Challenger convertible..... from project car level to a finished product.  Not interested in buying a super high dollar flawless show car.  Must be a solid car (no trashed rust buckets).  Prefer factory equipped manual transmission car and the more options the better.  Also prefer something located not too far from the San Francisco bay area of California if possible.....but might travel for the right car and price.  Unfinished and/or never started projects work for me as well.
I have a straight solid matching number 318 3 speed one owner Barracuda that could be worked towards a partial trade deal if the seller was interested...... otherwise cash is waiting........
Maybe it's time to give up the dream of ever getting to that project and give someone else a chance at it????
Email me and we can go from there !!!!!!!!! Grin Grin Grin

Me again.....
Just wanted to let y'all know that I haven't found that special convertible yet so keep me in mind if you know of one that may be for sale!!  And thank you to the several kind folks who have informed me of various prospects.  While I do love them all, the ones I have run across so far haven't fit my needs as of yet.  And I am willing to travel anywhere for the right car.
Also, the 1970 Barracuda I mentioned in my first writing is basically no longer available.  It's soon to become a Dan Gurney AAR Cuda street/race clone (if I can squeeze in another project).  Hope it turns out as good as Mikes !!!!  Thanks again !!!  Charlie (aka: hubleyman)

Hi Charlie,
Looking for a convertible eh?  Wow, I haven't seen much locally (San Francisco area) in a while.  A few years back a guy drove a yellow 70 barracuda convertible into a local car show with For Sale signs on it.  It was in fair condition and needed a complete restoration but the guy could not even get out of the car because he was so swarmed with potential buyers.  I walked by about 10 minutes later and a guy was filling his hands with hundred dollar bills. The signs came out  of the windows and the keys exchanged hands.  It was crazy!
Good luck

How about a 1970 Convert, was a 318 car, now it is a T/A clone convert. Sassy grass in and out under carpet, etc. several years ago. Black interior and original (1970) black top. (which should tell you something about the care this car has had over the years!) Car was/is pretty solid for a Challenger vert with original floors qrts, doors, aprons, rails, etc. Has has two patches in the trunk center.  Front aprons are pristine. Doors are 100% solid. Has had a little filler in the lower qrts. Engine is a 340 six pack with factory six pack set up and aircleaner assem.  Pistol grip 4spd, Rallys, Disc brakes, T/A hood, front wings, and rear spoiler, T/A complete side exhaust.  Overall nice looking driver that runs great. $29,500.00

Just an update.......
Yes, I'm still looking.  Haven't found the magical one yet.  Guess I should have bought one of the over-priced ones I checked out over the last few years, since they are now worth many times what the old asking price was????????
Actually, I'm holding out for that special one (for a keeper) that appeals to me and won't mind hanging out in the garage with some Cuda cousins......
